Keeping your hands and nails well moisturised best using pure petroleum jelly or coconut oil.
Nails are weaker when they are wet. Make sure you file or cut them only when they are dry.
Protect your skin and nails from drying, harmful chemicals.
Not filing your nails properly can cause more damage. Always file in only one direction.
Few of us have nails strong enough to grow very long. Short nails will be healthier and are just as beautiful.
